Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a software engineer to build and deploy cutting edge cloud-based software products for internal R&D and DoD contracts. This is an on-site role located in Orlando or Tampa, Florida.

You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle within an Agile SAFe environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers. A strong background across frontend, backend, and cloud technologies is preferred, with U.S. citizenship being a requirement for government work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, software, or computer science.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship required for DoD contracts.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, deployment, and sustainment of technology demonstrators.
• Present and conduct technology demonstrations to leadership and potential customers.
• Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test.
• Perform as part of an Agile (SAFe) team (scrums, planning, retrospectives).
• Travel may be required.
