Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a software engineer to develop cutting-edge cloud-based software products for internal R&D and Department of Defense contracts. This fully on-site role is located in Orlando, Florida.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and can work as part of an Agile team. Skills in both frontend and backend development, as well as cloud systems and DevOps practices, are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, deployment, and sustainment of technology demonstrators.
• Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Perform as part of an Agile (SAFe) team.

Skills

Frontend development (Angular, React, Vue, Typescript)

Experience with real time streaming applications

Experience with GIS

Backend development (C#, .NET, C++, Python, Node)
