Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Software Engineer (Cloud Developer) to design, develop, and deploy scalable AWS-based applications on-site at Patrick Space Force Base in Melbourne, FL. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and a strong focus on secure, cost-effective cloud solutions that meet mission needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

Leverage experience in cloud development in AWS to build robust cloud-based applications.
Migrate existing applications into cloud-based architecture
Ensure that the applications are scalable, secure, and cost-effective by utilizing AWS best practices and services.
Engage in daily interactions with customers to understand their requirements and provide suitable cloud-based solutions.
Produce detailed documentation to support the design, development, and deployment processes.
Adapt to support various mission areas, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to mission success.
