Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a cleared Specialist Software Engineer to support Linux-based environments, driving cloud-based integrations and deployments. You will collaborate across software and infrastructure teams, leveraging Python, Java, JavaScript, and Docker, with a focus on AWS and secure, scalable solutions.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and Security+ or equivalent within 90 days, with potential travel to Patrick Space Force Base.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Security+ Certification or any DOD IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of being hired.

Responsibilities

Leverage cloud development experience with AWS to build robust cloud-based applications.
Familiar with CAP and high-side AWS environments for this role.
Ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective applications using AWS services.
Engage daily with customers to understand requirements and provide cloud-based solutions.
Prepare architectural designs, implementation plans, and technical roadmaps.
Produce detailed documentation to support design, development, and deployment.
Adapt to support various mission areas and travel as needed.
