Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Cloud SOC Analyst to defend cloud and hybrid environments for mission-critical systems. You will monitor threats, analyze incidents, and coordinate response to limit impact, using SIEM/SOAR tools and threat intelligence.

The role emphasizes rapid containment, collaborative IR steps, and supporting secure migration and solutioning for the Air Force client. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in SOC, cloud security expertise, and ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II (Security+)

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a SOC or cybersecurity team in cloud/hybrid environments.
• 3+ years with cloud SIEM or SOAR (e.g., Splunk).
• Experience with incident response steps, remediation of security incidents.
• Knowledge of basic IT forensics.
• Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II Certification (Security+) within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze threats in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Identify, mitigate, and respond to security incidents.
• Support recovery and quantify affected systems.
• Combine threat intel with event data to detect attacker patterns.
• Translate customer needs and assist migration/solutioning.
