Job summary

Coalfire is seeking a Director of Cloud Services to lead client-facing engagements and the cloud services portfolio. You will shape engagements, build trusted relationships, and translate client needs into executable delivery plans while facilitating governance, training, and scalable processes.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on governance, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant cloud solutions.

Qualifications

8+ years in managing consulting, cloud engineering, strategy, or leadership roles.
Experience leading cloud services delivery teams or organizations.
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, security controls, vulnerability mgmt., operations, and governance.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior client-facing leader across cloud engineering engagements.
Own engagement momentum, milestones, risks, dependencies, quality, and client satisfaction.
Lead high-priority client escalations and difficult conversations with professionalism and resolution.
Own engineering quality, risk management, technical readiness, design quality, implementation quality, and corrective actions.
Partner with Sales and pre-sales to shape discovery, scopes, estimates, and acceptance criteria.
Translate complex cloud engineering and cloud security concepts into clear recommendations for clients and delivery teams.
Identify scope, staffing, schedule, and delivery risks early; establish mitigation plans.
