Job summary

Akerman LLP seeks a Director of Cloud Services to lead the strategy, governance, and operations of the firm's Microsoft-based cloud environment, including M365, Exchange Online, Azure security, and Copilot integration.

In this leadership role you will drive architecture, security, compliance with ABA/GDPR/HIPAA, and collaborate with legal and IT teams to enable secure, scalable, and productive digital workflows across the firm.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure and cloud services with leadership experience
• Deep expertise in Microsoft cloud services including 365, Azure AD, Exchange Online
• Experience with legal/regulatory compliance and risk-sensitive cloud deployments

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute cloud services roadmap focusing on Microsoft solutions
• Oversee deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud services
• Partner with vendors to stay current on product roadmaps and licensing
• Lead cloud security operations and governance aligned with ABA, GDPR, HIPAA
