Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build and manage security services that detect and mitigate threats across AWS infrastructure. You will work with data scientists and security engineers to design scalable, low-latency architectures and improve observability of critical systems.

You will collaborate across teams, mentor peers, and contribute to a culture that values inclusion and innovation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer experience
• Programming knowledge in Python and/or C++

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists and security engineers to build automated security detection and mitigation workflows
• Design scalable architectures for low-latency, big data processing
• Improve observability, performance, and efficiency of existing systems
• Raise the bar for testing, repeatability, automation, and operational excellence
• Mentor and develop teammates technically and professionally
• Seek out, develop, and advocate for new technologies
