Amazon Security is seeking skilled engineers to build innovative detection and prevention solutions for cloud security. You will research security problems that can be automated, develop prototypes to improve detection, and scale prevention across services.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or IT security experience.
- Knowledge of HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP.
- 2+ years scripting and security code review experience.
- 2+ years troubleshooting systems issues or automating tasks.
- Experience across SDLC security activities is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and prioritize security problems that can be detected using automation.
- Develop detection prototypes to enhance detection capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to prevent security issues at scale.
- Mentor and develop teammates technically and professionally.
- Advocate for new technology to research, identify, and mitigate complex risks.
