CrossCountry Consulting seeks a technically strong Cybersecurity Manager to join our Cybersecurity & Privacy practice in a hybrid role based in the Los Angeles area. The position emphasizes hands-on cloud security, architecture design, threat modeling, and risk management across client environments.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering/advisory experience, with certifications and hands-on work across ISO/NIST frameworks, container security, IaC, and secure cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Big 4 or related consulting/professional services experience with hands‑on Cybersecurity engineering and advisory expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity risk and maturity assessments using recognized frameworks.
• Design and implement security architectures for cloud environments.
• Perform threat modeling, pentest advisory, and proactive defense planning.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams to deliver engagements.
• Develop IR playbooks and disaster recovery procedures.
• Guide privacy program audits for CPRA/GDPR compliance.
