Job summary

Headmatch GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Technical Lead, Pre-Sales — Cloud & Security (DACH) to own the technical credibility for deals in the DACH region. The role requires solving complex cloud/security problems in live customer engagements rather than in queues.

You will drive technical strategy in pre-sales, manage enterprise cloud relationships, and design large-scale cloud projects. Fluent German and English are essential, with experience across SaaS/cloud environments.

Qualifications

5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role spanning SaaS/cloud environments
Fluent German and English
Ability to explain complex architecture to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

Drive technical strategy in the pre-sales process — design recommendations, architecture decisions, and the 'why this works' conversations that close deals
Own technical relationships with a portfolio of enterprise cloud customers, from mid-market to the largest names in the region
Design and run large-scale cloud infrastructure projects, not just scope them
Spot and develop new business opportunities inside existing accounts
Report account health and project status internally with real visibility into revenue impact
Provide technical leadership to project management and pre-sales staff — with minimal supervision
