Job summary

Petaluma Health Center in California seeks an IT Network Engineer to connect PHC with its growing network of clinics, remote data centers, and vendors, delivering secure, reliable networking to support patient care.

You will design, implement, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, manage incidents, perform patches, and contribute to disaster recovery planning. CCNA or Azure/AWS familiarity and virtualization experience are preferred. The position includes rotating on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6–8 years related experience in System Administration or Networking.
• CCNA or equivalent certification preferred; AWS/Azure knowledge a plus.
• Experience with TCP/IP, VPN, security concepts and network monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Engage with vendors, review invoices and contracts, and align with business goals.
• Design and install network equipment, configure switches/routers and wireless.
• Develop and maintain installation procedures; research automation.
• Monitor and maintain network performance; support IT systems and cloud services.
• Provide escalation support and incident response; disaster recovery planning.
