Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks an ISSE with strong cloud security expertise to support secure managed network and cloud solutions for government and enterprise customers. The role focuses on AWS security, SDLC integration, and automation of security controls.

The successful candidate will design, implement, and operate security across cloud-native applications and infrastructure, partnering with Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years relevant experience, or Graduate degree with 2+ years.
• Hands-on AWS security experience (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, VPC architecture, encryption in transit/at rest).
• Experience in network and platform security.
• Experience securing containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and implementing DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) with Git-based version control experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, integration, and implementation of secure network and cloud architectures aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Design and secure AWS cloud and hybrid architectures, including IAM, VPC, containers, and serverless, aligned to Zero Trust principles.
• Embed security into Agile SDLC processes and deploy application security controls (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, API security).
• Automate security controls within DevSecOps pipelines using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), policy-as-code, and CI/CD tools.
• Implement cloud-native logging, monitoring, detection capabilities and support incident response and remediation.
• Support compliance and risk management initiatives (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2, FedRAMP, GDPR) and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with SI&T and cross-functional teams to validate security controls and maintain documentation.
