Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a skilled Cyber Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our Melbourne, FL team. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and a strong foundation in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and systems administration.

You will design, deploy, and sustain mission systems in AWS GovCloud and C2S environments, with hands-on Linux administration and automation. The ideal candidate has experience configuring Red Hat/CentOS, deploying cloud infrastructure, and ensuring system

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 2+ years, or 8+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
TS/SCI clearance required.
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2: CCNA-Security, Security+ CE, or higher.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Red Hat/CentOS Linux systems in secure, mission-focused environments.
Deploy and manage AWS GovCloud/C2S cloud infrastructure with automation tools.
Operate as an AWS Cloud Systems Administrator with JBoss-based services.
Implement and sustain system hardening per DoD security standards and STIGs.
Perform vulnerability remediation to support RMF controls and audit readiness.
Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, and program teams for accreditation and secure operations.
