Ulta Beauty is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to secure our cloud platforms and modern application environments. The role focuses on implementing security controls in GCP and Azure, monitoring findings, and integrating security into CI/CD workflows.

The ideal candidate has hands-on cloud security experience, strong collaboration skills, and can partner with infra, platform, and application teams to enable secure business objectives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security or related field.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform security services and concepts.
• Experience securing cloud workloads, identities, applications, and data services.
• Familiar with cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Understanding IAM, encryption, logging, threat detection, vulnerability management, and secure deployment practices.
• Familiarity with secrets management and secure coding principles.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls across GCP and Azure environments.
• Design and deploy cloud security guardrails and policy enforcement mechanisms.
• Support IAM initiatives including least-privilege access and identity federation.
• Secure cloud services, workloads, and data platforms with best practices.
• Contribute to security automation using IaC and cloud-native tooling.
• Integrate and maintain security tools to improve visibility and posture.
