Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to bolster security across our cloud platforms, primarily GCP with a subset on Azure. You will implement security controls, guide IAM, encryption, and secure DevOps practices while collaborating with infrastructure, platform, and application teams to balance security with business goals.

The role requires hands-on expertise, strong communication, and the ability to translate security requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cloud security or DevSecOps
• Hands-on with GCP security services
• Experience securing workloads and IAM
• Familiarity with CSPM/CNAPP tools

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls across GCP and Azure
• Support IAM, encryption, key management, data protection
• Monitor cloud security alerts and respond to incidents
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security in CI/CD
