Job summary

Immersive Labs is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, build and deliver emulated cloud security labs and engaging content on the Immersive One platform. You will shape the content roadmap for AWS, Azure and GCP, creating realistic simulations for learners and industry professionals.

You will join a global Cyber Content team, work with engineers and educators, and help evolve lab-based training to teach secure cloud practices and threat mitigation at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in production-critical cloud infrastructures with a security focus.
• Solid knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP or Kubernetes with security, identity and access expertise.
• Experience with cloud SIEMs such as Microsoft Sentinel or Google SecOps.
• Experience with CSPM or CNAAP tooling.
• Solid containerisation experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with serverless technologies.
• Knowledgeable in network, firewall and security best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment, specifically Terraform.
• Understanding of cloud monitoring and security tooling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, IT services, networking, and security.
• Experience in DevSecOps, Cloud security or SRE with focus on availability and automation.

Responsibilities

• Utilise cloud tech knowledge to plan, write and improve cloud security labs and online learning content.
• Produce multi-format content including practical exercises, questions and gamification.
• Test Cloud Security labs to ensure they function as expected.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Content teams on new projects and deployments.
• Translate technical research into concise content for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work with the Product team on new projects and product innovations and deployment strategies.
