Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to secure our cloud platforms and modern application environments, implementing cloud security controls and monitoring for GCP and Azure.

You will partner with infrastructure, platform, and application teams to enable business objectives while following zero-trust principles and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with GCP security services and concepts.
• Experience securing cloud workloads, identities, applications, and data services.
• Familiarity with cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls across GCP and Azure environments.
• Design and deploy guardrails, baseline configurations, and policy enforcement mechanisms.
• Support IAM initiatives and zero-trust privileged access, federation and management.
• Secure cloud services and data platforms (GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run) and related workloads.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
