Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Cyber Security Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and secure multi-cloud environments (GCP and Azure) within our AI hybrid cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate with security architects and IT teams to implement cloud-native controls, respond to incidents, and mentor junior staff while aligning with regulatory standards. Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience required; CISSP/CEH or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or 4 years' work experience.
• 3 years of experience in information security engineering or cloud engineering.
• 7 years of experience in information security engineering or cloud engineering (preferred).
• Certified IS Security Professional or equivalent (CISSP/CEH/CCNP/GSEC/GPEN/GCIA/OSCP) required.
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy security configurations within GCP and Azure environments.
• Collaborate with IT, Enterprise Architecture and application teams to ensure cloud environments meet security standards.
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments for security and compliance.
• Evaluate and recommend GCP, Azure, and third-party tools to optimize security and compliance.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and training to junior security staff.
• Implement and monitor cloud-native security controls.
• Respond to and remediate cloud security incidents.
• Document best practices using collaboration tools and workspaces.
