Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in the United States seeks a Security Engineer to design and implement secure cloud platforms supporting law enforcement. As a systems security and network security engineer, you will shape enterprise cloud policies, assess vulnerabilities, and guide security strategy.

You’ll lead development and operations of secure mobile platforms, perform risk assessments, monitor threats, and advise executives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a cloud security role.
• Experience with mobile security architecture.
• Ability to brief executives and manage cross‑functional security efforts.
• Ability to lead the design, development, and operations of secure mobile platforms.
• Ability to be responsible for advanced threat detection, incident response planning, cyber resiliency strategy, and compliance with enterprise and federal security standards.
• Ability to act as a subject matter expert and collaborate across teams and with external partners to protect mission‑critical applications and infrastructure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
• Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.
