Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design and implement cloud security architectures for Intelligence Community workloads. You will assess documentation, support accreditation, and drive secure configurations across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You’ll work with leadership to codify objectives into security doctrine, evaluate applications for best security practices, and collaborate with IC clients to ensure compliance and standards are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and administering cloud environments with cloud-native capabilities, COTS, GOTS, and open‑source tools.
• Experience developing and evaluating security documentation (SSPs, contingency plans, security procedures, COOP).
• Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Experience in an Agile development environment."
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code concepts (Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep).
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of start date
• Ability to obtain CSSP-IS certification within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes to ensure IT systems meet IA/security requirements.
• Define desired state and risk thresholds; analyze state information to assess compliance.
• Advise on codifying strategic objectives into doctrine and procedures.
• Evaluate software and applications to ensure software assurance best practices.
• Recommend tools and capabilities based on current environment and cloud/hybrid resources.
• Implement cloud security architectures, tools, and processes you helped shape.
• Collaborate with IC clients to ensure standards are met with security requirements.
