Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Application Security Engineer to help secure cloud-based infrastructures for national security programs. You will support DoD clients, design and implement secure architectures, and work with cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to modernize IT environments.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP, TLS/mTLS, and cryptography, plus a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in DoD enterprise architecture.
• Minimum 4+ years designing, implementing, and administering F5 BIG-IP.
• 4+ years with inline break/inspect proxies (reverse/forward).
• Experience with AWS cloud and enterprise cloud architecture.
• Experience configuring TLS and Mutual TLS on a proxy.
• Experience working with DoD clients and stakeholders to troubleshoot enterprise architecture issues.
• Knowledge of cryptography protocols incl TLS, mTLS, hashing, PKI.
• Secret clearance and HS diploma or GED required.
