Job summary

PNC is seeking a Security Engineer to join the Cloud Security team in multiple U.S. locations. The role focuses on building and deploying security controls for Azure and AWS workloads, leveraging CSPM tools, and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate will collaborate with Cloud Architects and SOC, mentor junior members, and help drive security left in cloud infrastructure pipelines while communicating effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in security engineering.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud security and CSPM tools.
• CI/CD security integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and test security controls for Azure and AWS resources.
• Validate control effectiveness and promote to production.
• Collaborate in an agile team and participate in planning.
• Automate CSPM-based analysis within CI/CD environments.
• Mentor junior team members and assist roadmap planning.
• Engage with Cloud Architects and SOC teams to address vulnerabilities.
• Align security with production deployment requirements.
• Refine backlog tickets with Cloud Security Product Owner.
