The role focuses on building and deploying security controls for Azure and AWS workloads, advancing security through automation, and aligning with DevOps practices to bake security into CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with Cloud Architects, SOC, and product teams, ensuring secure-by-default configurations and guiding junior engineers toward scalable security solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services in an enterprise environment.
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Experience performing security gap analyses on Cloud Services or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience implementing security controls for public cloud workloads in Azure and AWS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Expertise with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and test security controls for Azure resources and AWS services.
• Validate security control effectiveness and promote controls to production workloads.
• Work within agile team and participate in planning sessions.
• Configure CSPM tools to analyze cloud workloads for compliance in CI/CD environments.
• Automate and orchestrate cloud software deployments to integrate security standards.
