You'll monitor security events with Splunk, address CSPM/CIEM findings, and harden Kubernetes (EKS) workloads. This contract position pays $45-$60 hourly and requires 3+ years of cloud security experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, IT, CS, or equivalent.
• 3+ years hands-on cloud security engineering/operations.
• Experience securing AWS and Azure environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise cloud security tools and DevSecOps.
• Kubernetes (EKS) and container security experience.
• Security certifications preferred (AWS, Azure, CISSP, CCSP).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security for AWS/Azure, IAM, encryption, monitoring.
• Monitor cloud security events with Splunk and native tools.
• Remediate CSPM/CIEM findings focusing on permissions and misconfigurations.
• Secure Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and ECS Fargate workloads.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines for IaC and secrets management.
• Conduct cloud security reviews and IAM assessments.
• Produce security findings reports and collaborate with engineering.
