Job summary

RXinsider LTD. seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to build and operate secure, scalable systems for a healthcare SaaS web app. The team collaborates with UCSD graduates and operates in a flexible, laidback environment across from Westfield UTC.

You will drive security in cloud architectures, automate deployments, and support production systems with observability and on-call duties. A strong emphasis on compliance and secure development is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of Cloud Operations / Engineering experience focusing on security.
• Strong hands-on system admin experience on public clouds, especially AWS.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Gitlab CI.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and auditing tools.
• Experience with automated configuration management and deployment tooling.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and remediate security risks in cloud platforms.
• Implement solutions to address security audits and compliance (SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA, FedRAMP desirable).
• Dive into configurations and logs to recommend security improvements.
• Build automation to improve security and delivery speed with CI/CD.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security in feature development.
• Work with external security testers and coordinate fixes across teams.
• Operate and maintain production systems with observability and reliability.
