Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Security Engineer to bolster the HIOS Platform Team's security posture within a federal production environment. You will design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions for cloud infrastructure and sensitive data while driving risk reduction and automation.

You will participate in risk quantification, threat modeling, and the development of secure API key management, all within CMS security and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least four years of relevant experience in compliance, identity, networking, system data, and cloud security, with ability to research security issues and evaluate risk using monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Research security issues and help create new security technology solutions.
• Design and develop scripts to automate security control workflow lifecycle.
• Evaluate risk using monitoring systems (Splunk, New Relic, firewall, SIEM, vulnerability scans).
• Develop and implement security procedures and ensure compliance.
• Execute client data classification and security assessments.
• Manage remediation plans to support risk goals.
• Conduct threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities.
• Follow CMS security, documentation, configuration management, and SDLC requirements.
• Provide security guidance to team members.
