Job summary

Jane App is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to build our platform security function, partnering with leadership to harden cloud native systems, CI/CD pipelines, and container infrastructure across Jane and customer data.

You'll own hands-on cloud security posture management, security guardrails in CI/CD, and AI security at scale, collaborating with a cross-functional team to drive secure design and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of AWS security across IAM, networking, compute, and storage.
• Hands-on with CNAPP or CSPM tooling such as Wiz or Prisma Cloud.
• Experience with secrets detection/remediation, IaC hardening, container image scanning, or CI/CD security controls.
• Kubernetes or EKS security fundamentals with policy guardrails (Kyverno or OPA/Gatekeeper).
• Systems-thinking approach to security, understanding root causes and broader impacts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to maturing cloud security posture management across cloud environments.
• Ship CI/CD security integrations and harden the supply chain in pipelines.
• Embed security into workflows with secure defaults for developers.
• Shape AI security program with standards, tooling, and governance for safe AI use.
• Participate in on-call rotation and improve post-incident reviews.
