Job summary

General Intuition is seeking a security engineer to harden our cloud environments and protect data pipelines across GI's AI research and Medal's creator platform. You will secure deployments against supply‑chain threats while balancing speed for research and product teams.

You will implement secure-by-default foundations, integrate Terraform, CI/CD guardrails, and ensure privileged-access controls, logging, and compliance across our stack.

Qualifications

• Experience securing cloud-native environments (GCP/AWS) and containerized workloads.
• Proven ability to design secure-by-default foundations and guardrails.
• Strong knowledge of data pipelines security, logging, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Harden GI's cloud environments and Medal's creator platform.
• Protect data pipelines and enforce encryption, isolation, and access controls.
• Implement secure-by-default guardrails with Terraform, CI/CD, and deployments.
• Lead threat modeling, red teaming, and incident response activities.
