Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Detection Engineer - Cloud Security to design and deliver cloud threat detections across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll shape detection engineering standards, improve signal quality, and collaborate with Cloud Security Operations and SOC teams to reduce risk.

You will translate threat intelligence into practical detections, validate effectiveness through testing, and drive continuous improvement in cloud defense capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security engineering or cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with SIEM platforms and detection content.
