Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Security Detections Engineer to identify, track, and defeat sophisticated threats across our platform. You will examine threats in real-time, leveraging data to build detections that protect millions of users and services globally.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate complex threat intelligence into clear guidance and actionable defense improvements, helping keep our customers safe as cyber threats evolve.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis of security events, logs, and telemetry.
• Ability to identify attacker TTPs and map to defenses.
• Comfort translating technical findings for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate threats in real time across Cloudflare platforms.
• Develop and tune detections to stop abuse and sophisticated attacks.
