Job summary

Compunnel Software Group in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer for a 6+ month contract. The role focuses on securing cloud platforms, building automation, and integrating security into the SDLC.

You will collaborate with development teams to implement best practices and monitor for policy compliance. The successful candidate has at least 3 years in Information Security with hands-on experience in IaaS security, AWS, Azure, and IAM models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of information security or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud security on IaaS platforms (AWS, Azure) and IAM models.

Responsibilities

• Define security best practices for our cloud platform and provide guidance to development teams.
• Build tools to monitor for compliance and automate remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response, risk/compliance, product security and development teams to solve critical security problems.
• Develop an AppSec pipeline and integrate it into the agile SDLC.
