Compunnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Architect to design and implement advanced security solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.

The role focuses on securing cloud-native applications, data pipelines, and enterprise infrastructure while enabling secure application development with modern DevSecOps practices. The candidate will lead cloud architecture, security, CI/CD automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code in a regulated setting, guiding teams to embed security

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in Systems Architecture.
• Expert-level AWS services, security, and DevSecOps.
• Hands-on AWS IAM experience.
• 5+ years with cloud tech or data engineering.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments.
• Experience CI/CD and IaC deployments.
• Experience with cloud storage like S3 and Azure Blob.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• IAM, secret management, and encryption knowledge.
• Kubernetes, microservices, and/or serverless.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure cloud architecture across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Support secure deployment and integration of cloud and data security apps in regulated environments.
• Architect and automate CI/CD pipelines and IaC templates for secure development.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers, infrastructure, and risk teams to embed security.
• Design and implement security controls for cloud-native apps and data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and services issues.
• Provide technical support across security domains to minimize risk.
• Implement IAM, secret management, and encryption solutions.
• Ensure data at rest and in transit is protected enterprise-wide.
• Support application deployment via CI/CD and IaC pipelines.
• Promote DevSecOps best practices and secure software delivery.
