Job summary

Informa TechTarget in Newton, MA is seeking a strategic Security Architect to define cloud and enterprise security architecture. You will own the security architecture vision, establish governance, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure to embed security across our technology ecosystem.

Lead SDLC security, DevSecOps, threat modeling, and risk reduction while ensuring ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with deep cloud security expertise.
• Proven track record leading enterprise security architecture in multi-cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices for AWS and GCP including IAM, CSPM, CIEM, and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise security architecture for cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments.
• Define security principles, standards, and governance aligned to regulatory requirements.
• Lead security strategy, roadmaps, and initiatives for executive leadership.
• Oversee IAM, Zero Trust, CSPM/CIEM, and threat detection platforms.
• Drive Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, and secure coding practices across teams.
• Mentor DevOps and engineering on secure design and risk mitigation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure leaders to align security with business needs.
