Job summary

US Anesthesia Partners seeks an Information Security Architect to lead secure design and governance across enterprise applications and cloud platforms. The role partners with developers, DevOps, cloud infra, and security teams to embed security in the SDLC while enabling rapid cloud delivery.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud security architecture, application security, DevSecOps, threat modeling, and platforms such as AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience securing enterprise environments across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of SSDLC and DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git repositories.
• Familiarity with IAM, OAuth, SAML, Zero Trust, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and enforces secure software development standards and cloud security best practices.
• Leads the security lifecycle by reviewing emerging technologies, threats, and trends and maturing end of life governance for applications and technologies.
• Participates in Architectural Review Board with a security-focused lens.
• Reviews application architecture docs with a security lens.
• Partners with engineering/DevOps to embed security in CI/CD pipelines.
• Conducts architecture risk assessments, threat modeling, and secure design reviews.
• Develops security reference architectures and standards for cloud-native apps.
• Leads application security initiatives including SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning, container security, and API security.
• Collaborates with security operations, infrastructure, compliance, and engineering to address findings.
• Provides mentorship on secure coding practices and cloud security.
• Ensures cloud apps comply with PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR.
