Job summary

State Street is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to define, implement, and govern cloud security architectures across public, private, and SaaS environments. You will partner with cloud engineering, infrastructure, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions aligned with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
• Proven leadership in cybersecurity architecture within global, complex environments.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CCSP/Cloud-Specific highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern cloud security architectures, standards, and controls across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Partner with cloud engineering, infra, and app teams to integrate security controls into platforms.
• Lead security architecture reviews for cloud transformations, containers, Kubernetes, and SaaS solutions.
• Define cloud security capabilities: IAM, network security, data protection, encryption, logging, and automation.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation aligned with enterprise risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Drive Zero Trust, secure-by-design, and cloud-native security practices.
• Evaluate emerging cloud security technologies to support future-state architectures.
