Job summary

Infosys Cloud unit is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 to join a team delivering scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with client and internal teams to resolve incidents, assess infrastructure maturity, and design cost-effective solutions.

You will contribute to deployment readiness, perform security checks, and drive automation opportunities while coordinating across onsite, offshore, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in administering PostgreSQL databases across dev/test/prod.
• Experience implementing high-availability solutions using Patroni.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, backup/recovery, replication, and security.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex incidents with root cause analyses and preventive actions.
• Assess client IT infrastructure and prepare actionable reports for improvements.
• Design scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions and documentation.
• Coordinate releases, deployments, and post-deployment testing with version control.
• Plan maintenance, upgrades, and continuity to minimize downtime.
• Analyze performance data and support capacity planning for efficiency.
• Perform security checks and compliance audits; coordinate continuity plans.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Liaise with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams to document project requirements.
• Create a centralized repository of technical knowledge for reuse.
