Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks a Cloud Prognostics Systems Engineer to develop prognostic features for connected vehicles. You will apply MBSE, model-based analysis, and sensor integration across vehicle hardware and cloud platforms.

Key tasks include MATLAB/Simulink modeling, C++ code generation, safety case activities, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust prognostic solutions and compliant system designs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years automotive engineering or data analytics.
• Strong knowledge of MBSE, DFMEA and FMEA.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and C++ code generation.
• Proven ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SysML and model-based systems engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Apply MBSE methodologies using SysML and MagicDraw.
• Define system boundaries and architectures.
• Map interface definitions and allocate prognostic functions.
• Design control logic with MATLAB/Simulink and generate C++ code.
• Configure data types and support code generation.
• Operate labs incl. dyno testing and e-Daq systems.
• Select, place, and calibrate sensors on prototype vehicles.
• Perform safety analyses (FMEA/FMEDA) and ISO 26262 readiness.
• Collaborate on cloud-to-vehicle communications and data analytics.
