Job summary

Air Space Intelligence’s Civil Aviation team is seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Engineer to own the architecture, reliability, and evolution of a global cloud platform that supports mission-critical aviation systems.

You will lead a small hands-on team, define IaC, Kubernetes-based systems, deployment pipelines, and production operations, delivering ~99.99% availability and safe continuous delivery in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating highly reliable cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in AWS with multi-region architectures.
• Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership of small teams in production environments.
• Exposure to 24/7 production systems and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, reliability, and evolution of a cloud platform.
• Lead a small team while remaining hands-on.
• Define and drive platform architecture, IaC, pipelines, and production operations.
• Own end-to-end reliability, design for failure, observability, and incident response.
