Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Product Finance Senior Manager to own the economics of multi-cloud platform spend. You will partner with Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure Ops, building driver-based forecasting, cost attribution, and scalable FP&A processes across regions and products.

You will lead analytics to drive unit economics, define efficiency KPIs with Engineering, and translate technical optimizations into margin targets while scaling finance operations for a dynamic cloud platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Strategic/Product Finance, Cloud FP&A, or FinOps.

Responsibilities

• Drive analytics and modeling to understand how platform spend scales.
• Lead deep data analytics to identify drivers of shared cloud platform spend across products, cloud providers, and regions.
• Build driver-based forecasting models to predict infrastructure spend across regional expansion, customer scale, and new product launches.
• Partner with Cloud Infrastructure Operations to design cost attribution maps that allocate expenses to products.
• Establish KPIs and operations to achieve unit economics goals.
• Partner with Engineering to define north star efficiency KPIs across platform services and storage/compute layers.
• Translate technical optimizations into operating and gross margin targets.
• Drive reporting so leaders can execute against unit economic goals.
• Scale cloud FP&A processes with automated workflows for dynamic multi-cloud structures.
• Ensure cost allocation, accruals, and pipelines remain rigorous and auditable.
• Dogfood the company platform to analyze massive cloud billing datasets for self-serve cost visibility.
