Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking an Associate Cloud Engineer I to design, troubleshoot, and deliver cloud-based solutions that keep AbbVie’s business platforms running smoothly.

You will partner with IT and business teams to implement platform enhancements, improve performance, and ensure secure, compliant operations. You will support the solution lifecycle, maintain documentation, and help manage risk and data protection requirements while learning new technologies and mentoring others in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS or a related field.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD).
• Working knowledge of architecture and how structure and solutions fit together.
• Previous internship or related experience in cloud engineering.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve incidents to maintain stable business platforms.
• Partner with business and IT teams to design and deliver platform enhancements and integrations.
• Support continuous improvement of platform performance, scalability, reliability, and overall functionality.
• Track project milestones, coordinate across teams, and support the successful and timely delivery of technical solutions.
• Maintain required technical documentation and support testing, deployment, and other activities throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Assess technical and operational risks and partner with business, vendor, and technical teams to support cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
• Escalate issues to ensure execution success and keep stakeholders informed through effective verbal and written communication.
• Learn, understand, and master new methods and technologies, and act as a resource or mentor for others.
• Adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.
