Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking an Associate Cloud Engineer I to help design, troubleshoot, and deliver scalable platform solutions across business systems. You will collaborate with IT and business teams to implement enhancements, manage incidents, and ensure reliability.

This role emphasizes documentation, risk management, cybersecurity, and adherence to lifecycle processes while mentoring teammates and adopting new technologies to support AbbVie\'s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD).
• Working knowledge of architecture and how structure and solutions fit together.
• Previous internship or related experience in cloud engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues and incidents to maintain stable platforms.
• Partner with business and IT to design and deliver platform enhancements and integrations.
• Improve platform performance, scalability, reliability, and functionality.
• Track milestones, coordinate across teams, ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and support lifecycle activities.
• Assess risks and support cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
• Escalate issues and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Learn new methods and mentor others.
• Adhere to policies including code of conduct, safety, GxP, data security, SDLC.
