Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Platform Engineer / DevSecOps Engineer in McLean, VA to support the GrantSolutions modernization effort. You will build and operate AWS-based platform patterns, pipelines, and automation that enable multiple Scrum teams and partners to deliver securely.

You will implement secure CI/CD, IaC, and observability, working with product owners, security teams, and Federal stakeholders to align with governance and NIST controls during iterative modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong automation and infrastructure as code experience.
• Familiarity with security controls integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate, secure, and operate AWS cloud platform capabilities for large-scale modernization.
• Implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and automated release workflows.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to support repeatable environments.
• Embed security and observability across SDLC with automated checks, monitoring, and compliance evidence.
