Job summary
eMed is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Cloud) in Miami to design, build, and maintain our platform that powers developer productivity. You will partner with application engineers to deliver reliable, scalable cloud solutions and improve tooling for a better developer experience.
You will work across AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, contributing to platform security and performance while mentoring peers and aligning with engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or commensurate experience.
- 5+ years of proven experience in software development, cloud systems, scalable architectures.
- Ability to partner with application developers and understand their needs.
Responsibilities
- Foster links with application developers to understand their needs and issues.
- Design, build, and operate platform tooling for a seamless developer experience.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure infrastructure in AWS using Terraform and IaC principles.
- Operate and improve production Kubernetes environment with high availability and performance.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, driving automation across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Improve platform observability through logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting systems.
