Job summary

Northstratis is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with AWS experience and strong Python or Go skills. You will help design core architecture and integrate open-source components for advanced Big Data and cloud solutions.

The role requires robust Linux expertise, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code with a focus on automation and security compliance. A hybrid work model is supported with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or higher with relevant experience.
• Experience deploying OS and containers with automation tooling.
• Strong Linux, cloud infra, and scripting capabilities.
• Hands-on with AWS and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office environment and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core architecture for cloud software from prototype to production.
• Integrate open-source components to solve complex problems in Big Data / Cloud tech.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code, automation, and security compliance.
• Enhance, optimize, and harden existing code bases and deployments.
