Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Atlanta, GA seeks a senior Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure. You will implement IaC, automate pipelines, and ensure security and resilience across platforms like AWS and Azure.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across teams, monitor performance, and drive platform modernization and disaster recovery initiatives in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Develop IaC, configuration management, and orchestration solutions.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to create secure, scalable cloud solutions.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability with observability and logging.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement preventive measures.
• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance controls.
• Contribute to cloud migration, platform modernization, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Create technical documentation and reusable engineering patterns.
• Mentor engineers in cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps.
