Job summary

Avaya is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud platforms. You will implement infrastructure as code, automate workflows, and enable teams to deploy confidently with Kubernetes and Docker in a secure, reliable environment.

You will collaborate with cloud operations, apply GitOps, and continuously improve platform resilience, performance, and security through automation and best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure.
Strong automation scripting skills in Python, Bash, Ansible, and Groovy.
Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience for deployment and scaling.
Bachelor’s degree in CS or engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud platform solutions using modern architecture and automation.
Apply IaC and automation to improve platform consistency and efficiency.
Support containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes for reliable deployments.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitOps practices.
