The role involves designing, building, and managing cloud application solutions, with specific expertise required in AWS, VMware, and Nutanix. Key Responsibilities:
+ As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure.
+ Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance.
+ Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions.
+ Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
+ Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
+ Master proficiency in VMware and Nutanix and AWS Lambda/Cloud Formation/Administration are required
+ OS Upgrade / Install experience is a must in various platforms such as AWS, Azure, VMware and Nutanix
+ Set up of new environment where noted (create servers, configuration, apply security, install agents etc.)
+ AWS Platform administration using Lambda and Python
+ AWS ECS, ELB, VPC, Route53, ElastiCache, WorkSpace on AWS
+ Familiarity with Automation Tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Gitlab, Jenkins, AWS Storage, Elastic File System and AWS PaaS services
+ Performance analysis on environments (i.e. is the current environment able to handle the existing site/user load)
+ Additional security requirements on existing environments (service accounts, access changes) and patching
+ Vulnerabilities Remediation for various applications and OSes and reporting to stakeholders
+ Mock and cutover support (complete cutover assigned tasks, be available as needed throughout defined periods)
+ Update documentation for support teams KT (as needed)
+ Fully hands on and Self Driven
Location Requirements: Please note, this role requires onsite 3 days a week in Dallas, TX.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS in a Cloud engineer role
+ Minimum of 3 years of design, build, testing and deploying cloud applications that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure
+ Minimum of 3 years deploying infrastructure and platform environments, creating a proof of architecture to test architecture performance
+ Minimum of 3 years of VMware, Nutanix and AWS Lambda / Cloud Formation / administration
+ Minimum of 3 years of AWS Platform adminstration using Lambda and python
+ Minimum of 3 years of AWS ECS, ELB, VPC, Route53, Elasticache, WorkSpace on AWS, Cloud Formation, Cloud Front and Lambda functions.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience with automation tools such as Python, Terraform, Ansible, Gitlab, Jenkins, AWS Storage, Elastic File System and AWS PaaS services
+ High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor or Associate's degree
+ AWS Solution Architect Certification
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey or Washington as set forth below.
