Job description

Nebula is an international IT consultancy company headquartered in Wyoming, USA, with a development center in Skopje, Macedonia. We focus on digitalization and automation of business processes to make businesses more efficient and successful. We are looking for Cloud Platform Engineers to join our growing team and help deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Engineering: Design, build, and operate highly available and scalable cloud systems with a focus on Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• DevSecOps & Automation: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD, Tekton, Jenkins, and Helm.
• Platform Engineering: Develop and maintain internal developer platforms with self-service capabilities (e.g., databases, message brokers, monitoring).
• Observability & Security: Ensure end-to-end system observability (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK) and implement security measures (OPA Gatekeeper, Istio, Cilium).
• Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Collaborate proactively with business departments, contribute to agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), and take ownership of tasks and outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Professional Experience:
  • Several years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and the wider K8s ecosystem (Istio, Cilium).
  • Proficiency in using Terraform, Helm, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton.
  • Experience in Kafka cluster management is a plus.
• Soft & Methodical Skills:
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Strong didactic abilities and initiative in knowledge sharing.
  • Familiarity with agile project delivery frameworks and tools.

Certifications (Nice to Have)

• CKS – Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist
