Job summary

ASRC Agile Decision Sciences, a premier provider of systems engineering and cloud solutions, seeks a Cloud Operations Engineer to join the SSDS team in Moorestown, NJ. You will manage containerized environments and build scalable cloud services.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years in Cloud Ops/DevOps, hands-on Podman/Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting in Bash or Python, plus ability to obtain security clearance. This role offers growth and impact on critical government projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Math, Physics or related field.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain government clearance.
• 5–7+ years of Cloud Ops/SRE/DevOps experience.
• Hands-on Podman, Docker, and Docker Compose in production.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficient in Bash and Python scripting.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiar with IDEs like Eclipse.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.
• Strong networking, security, and IAM knowledge in cloud.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support containerized environments using Podman, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Work with development, security, and product teams to plan, deploy, and maintain services.
• Document operational procedures and create clear runbooks; Bash and Python scripting.
